MANDATORY FUNDRAISERS

Entertainment Books Each player must sell 7 "2007 Entertainment" books. The books will be sold for $25 each, and both the Pittsburgh AND Pittsburgh East editions are available. After November 1st, they will go on sale to the general public for $30. The Club will profit $9 for each of the first 6 books sold per player. Any sales beyond the original 6 books will be credited to the player's account at $9 per book. Sellers must pay in advance for books taken for sale. Orders can be taken now and books will be available August 1st for pickup from Karen Urban's house. PA Lottery Ticket sales Tickets will be available in November. Sales will end January, 2006

OPTIONAL FUNDRAISERS

Ad Book Probably the easiest way to raise most your your fees and spread awareness of the club at the same time! Car Wash Proceeds are credited to the accounts of attending players based on the length of time they work at the Car Wash. Cook Outs Proceeds are credited to the accounts of attending players based on the length of time they work at the Cook Out. Corporate Sponsorship Gateway offers Corporate Sponsors an excellent opportunity to support kids in the community, with several levels of sponsorship and accompanying recognition to the sponsor in front of all the Gateway Fans and Faithful. Joe Corbi's Foods Back by popular demand! W hawe have the opportunity to sell all kinds of pizza, snack and dessert kits, cookie dough, etc. $5 credit per item!! Sheetz Coupon Books / Eat 'n Park Cookie Cards Dek Hockey Refereeing Monroeville Municipality will pay qualified Gateway Players to referee their games in the Fall. Also an excellent way to teach future Gateway Stars!

OTHER INFORMATION

All funds from fundraisers are to be turned in with ONE CHECK made payable to "Gateway Hockey". Our fundraisers have been selected due to either past success or expected success. Many factors contribute to selecting a fundraiser. If anyone would like to chair and test their idea for a fundraiser, please call Karen Urban at (412) 372-3182. Please remember that all sales are offered to decrease costs to players and to allow families to choose their fundraisers. Mandatory fundraisers are designed to help eliminate fee increases. Any family not participating in the mandatory fundraisers shouild notify Susie Feldman and the appropriate amount will be added to your personal account.
